Munich: Demo against gender ban – “I can’t look into Mr. Söder’s head”.
Asterisk, underscore, colon: Gendering is now forbidden in Bavaria, at least in schools, universities and authorities. Queer and feminist groups are calling for protest in Munich. Around 650 demonstrators gathered in the Isarvorstadt. The black-red coalition in Hesse also plans to ban special gender symbols in state institutions.
