Moscow authorities spoke about round-the-clock snow removal work. At 05:00 the services carried out a cycle of continuous sweeping of the road and sidewalks, followed by de-icing treatment.
Earlier, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, said that such a high density of snow as this winter has not been seen for several decades. It is clarified that the necessary equipment, small-scale mechanization equipment, wipers, and manual cleaning teams are involved.
