Mother of four fell into a river in Sonneberg, Thuringia, on the way home from a carnival party. Police suspect the woman fell into the river from a gravel path on a relatively narrow road.
Because of a brick wall and the speed of the flow, it is difficult to get out of the river, said a spokesman for the state police operations center. The 43-year-old leaves behind a husband and four children. The woman's lifeless body was discovered in the river on Sunday.
