Mio Imada will play the role of the main character's wife in the morning drama "Anpan" starting next spring. The main character is modeled after manga artist Takashi Yanase.
Mr. Imada is a 26-year-old from Fukuoka Prefecture, and first appeared in a movie in 2015. This is his second appearance in a TV drama series since ``Okaeri Monet'' in 2019. The serial TV novel "An Pan" is scheduled to be filmed this fall, and will begin broadcasting next spring, NHK said.
