Couple capsized their kayaks in Upper Franconia. The woman was able to escape to the bank, but the man got caught in the current at the weir.
After about half an hour, the water rescue team reportedly found his body and pulled him out of the river. Paramedics took him to hospital with resuscitation measures, but he died in the early afternoon. The man and his wife were kayaking on the Main in Bavaria when the accident happened on Sunday afternoon.
