The Zhangjiang Estuary Mangrove National Nature Reserve is located on the vast tidal flat west of Shifanta at the mouth of the Zhangjiang River in Yunxiao County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. It mainly protects mangrove plants, wetland birds, and excellent aquatic germplasm resources.
The aquatic products here, such as mud clams, blue crabs, and razor clams are delicious, nutritious, and well-known far and wide. It is the main migratory ground for Chinese white dolphins.
