On the 9th of this month, the body of Saito Ukawa (17), a second-year high school student from Fukuroi City, was found at Lake Hamana in Arai-cho, Kosai City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Police believe that he had been beaten and then drowned, and are investigating the matter as a murder.
Interviews with investigators revealed that he appears to have been in trouble by causing his motorcycle to fall over. Police arrested five people between the ages of 17 and 21 on the 20th on suspicion of causing bodily harm and confinement.
