Anqing, Anhui explores new ways to protect and utilize ancient buildings. As a national historical and cultural city, Anqing has a total of 262 ancient buildings in the urban area.
A number of ancient buildings such as the Quanyechang Store have come to life and become popular. The city has focused on legislation first, focused on repair and protection, insisted on project promotion and preservation, and upheld inheritance and innovation. In this way, 100,000 ancient bricks and 67,000 old tiles were used to complete renovation of Jiang's old house.
