On the 16th, all lines of JR East underwent a simultaneous schedule revision. On the Keiyo Line, which connects Chiba City and Tokyo Station, the rapid trains in the morning and evening hours, except for two early morning trains, were changed to stopping at every station.

There have been a number of calls for reconsideration due to concerns such as decreased convenience. Local governments will conduct a questionnaire survey together with economic organizations and other organizations to understand the impact on the region, and will then proceed with discussions with JR to reconsider.
