Jamal Al-Budadah is a Palestinian mechanical engineer and commander in the Al-Qassam Brigades. He left work at NASA and returned to the Gaza Strip, where he was born.

He is considered one of the developers of the resistance's military capabilities. The Israeli security service described him as a major force in the production of resistance missiles, and the occupation assassinated him in 2021. His son revealed in an interview that his father prayed during the month of Ramadan, a few days before the outbreak of the Battle of Saif al-Quds.
