Ishikawa Kaga "Rideshare" begins ahead of Kanazawa-Tsuruga Shinkansen opening. If you reserve and pay for a ride using a smartphone app, you can use it for 80% of the price of a taxi.
The hours are from 7am to 11pm, and the taxis are operated by people who have a Type 2 driver's license or who have taken training using their own cars. It is operated by the Kaga City Tourism Exchange Organization, and local taxi companies are responsible for operation and safety management.
