Internet betting mahjong company employees arrested, first for online casino operator. Seven office workers ranging in age from their 20s to 40s were accused of operating an online casino in Japan that lets people play mahjong online.

It is believed that the company collected 10% to 15% of customers' profits as fees, and fraudulently obtained more than 2 billion yen from the site's launch in 2011 to December last year. Although the site claimed that there was no illegality, gambling with money at online casinos is now illegal in Japan.
