Inner Mongolia Tongliao reports on the cohabitation situation of monkeys and cats in Xilamulun Zoo. The staff has observed many times that there is no bullying between the monkey and the cat.
The Monkey Mountain covers an area of 3694 square meters and houses 18 macaques. It consists of a mountain, a canal and three pine trees. While the cats in Monkey Mountain survive by hunting rats in Monkey Mountains, their keepers also feed them normally. On the premise of ensuring the safety of the monkeys, biological control methods were adopted and two cats were released successively.
