China is one of the countries with the richest grassland resources in the world. Nearly 4 million hectares of grassland occupies 40% of the total land area.

The Ili grassland develops in the Zhongtianshan Mountains and its intermountain basins in the Tianshan Mountain. The Narathi steppe is where the "Shepherd of the Sea of Cocoto" sings. There is the Shata steppe at the foot of Khantengri Peak, and the beautiful fruit ditch in Guozigou.
