In the next five years, the Chongqing Red Cross system plans to raise 6 million yuan in funds and materials. Every year, "fraternity sends 3,100 families" to help more than 1,6 families in need.
The city has developed 4413,451 grassroots organizations of the Red Cross, 91196 group members and 526,3 individual members. School Red Cross organizations have been established in 3 primary and secondary schools with 78,3 youth members, and knowledge of the international Red Cross movement, first aid knowledge and first aid skills have been disseminated in schools.
