Shota Suzuki is the host of "Japan's New Family" on NHK. He talks to a family of same-sex couples who want to live together in Japan.

But a barrier to the system stands in the way, he says. "I want to play with my daughter every day. I want to eat together, laugh together, sleep in the same bed. That's the only hope," says the father of one of the couples. "It is difficult to go and live in Brazil because the foundation of life is already in the Japan," Suzuki says.
