Hydrogen station opened in Harumi Flag, a city development project that utilizes hydrogen. The hydrogen supplied through the pipes will be used to generate electricity in fuel cells installed in the area.
This is the first time in Japan that a full-scale hydrogen supply through a pipe will be provided, and will begin on the 29th. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government hopes to use this initiative as an opportunity to expand the use of hydrogen energy in daily life. The station has the ability to supply hydrogen to the entire area through underground pipes, as well as metropolitan buses and BRT that run on hydrogen.
