HAS does not rule out implementing teleconsultation in places other than care areas. The SNCF announced last year the deployment of telemedicine spaces to combat medical deserts in around 300 stations by 2028.
The public authority is considering different actions to control quality criteria, in the form of declaration of installed equipment or label. The decree on the approval of medical teleConsultation companies, published last week, will notably allow approved companies to be able to employ doctors. The text leaves unchanged the obligation for doctors to devote a maximum of 20% of their time to teleconsULTation.
