A committee of experts was held on the 15th to discuss safety measures in response to the collision between planes at Haneda Airport. At the meeting, there were many opinions calling for the introduction of a system that uses sound to notify air traffic controllers of abnormalities.

Other opinions include the importance of providing a forum for pilots and controllers to regularly exchange opinions, and opinions regarding how to operate the "stop bar lights" installed in front of the runway. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism will continue to hold meetings and announce an interim report around summer.
