Joaquín Amador, husband of the dancer Manuela Carrasco, has died this Wednesday. Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Board, Arturo Bernal, confirmed the news on Twitter.
The organization of the Flamenco Biennial of Seville has been "dismayed" with the sudden death. Amador was the brother of the cantaora Encarnación Amador Santiago, 'La Susi', who died in October 2020 due to cancer.
