Three half-finished high-rise buildings have been rising for years in downtown Los Angeles. Graffiti artists and even skydivers have discovered the ruins for themselves.

The three buildings at Oceanwide Plaza were erected but were never completed. In 2019, construction work was stopped because the owner, the Chinese Oceanwide Holdings, ran out of money after having already invested a billion dollars in the project. The owner has stopped working on practically-rise since the last time it stopped paying for work.
