Businessman John and his wife Rhodora Donahue bought part of the property on the Gordon Pointe Peninsula in 1985 for $1 million. The property has its own private beach as well as a private marina. If the Donahues estate sells for the asking price, it will set a new U.S. record for the mostexpensive real estate sale.
