The Israeli army has been carrying out an operation for four days in the Al-Chifa hospital complex in the Gaza Strip. It announced Thursday that it had already killed "more than 140" Palestinian fighters.

The army accuses Hamas of using this hospital as a command center and has published videos showing weapons or cash seized, on site. The operation was launched the day an Israeli delegation was sent to Doha to negotiate a truce agreement and a release of Israeli hostages held in Gaza. On Tuesday, Hamas leader Isïl Haniyeh accused Israel of having wanted to “put pressure on the negotiations”
