More than 100 former members of the former Unification Church are seeking refunds in a collective mediation. 109 former members have filed a collective arbitration lawsuit with the Tokyo District Court.

They claim that they were "forced to make donations through illegal solicitation by the church" Mediation is being held behind closed doors, and the first meeting was held on the 29th of last month.
