Villagers in Zunhua City, Hebei Province, say two large pits are being dug 24 hours a day. The pits are inside the factory area of the Riqiang Iron Selection Plant.
The ore and gravel mined from the pit are continuously transported to the front processing plant for processing into sand, stone and iron ore. The factory area has about 1000,280 acres of land, and there are two huge deep pits. According to China's Mineral Resources Law, mining without obtaining a mining license is an act of illegal mining.
