Feridun Zaimoglu is one of the most important authors of contemporary German literature. He became known to a broad public with his books »Kanak Sprak« and »German Amok« At the end of the 1990s, he became a mouthpiece, especially for adolescents with a migrant background.
In his current book, »Coping«, he describes an author who fails in his attempt to write a book about Adolf Hitler. He was nominated for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize for his Luther novel »Evangelio«
