Fairy lights sent by train instead of parcel service. A still unknown sender “sent” a package from Berlin to Hamburg via ICE.
In doing so, he called the federal police onto the scene. An explosives detection dog was also used to sniff out the package. Inside they found a string of LED lights. There was also a handwritten name and telephone number on the bottom of the package, police said. A man then appeared at the police station at Hamburg Central Station. According to the information, he did not tell the police anything about the sender, who had apparently stowed the package on the train in Berlin.
