[HIGHLIGHTS] Event to verify the results of the G7: Launch of a new activity organization for A-bomb survivors and young people

An event was held to examine the achievements and challenges of the discussions on nuclear disarmament at the G7 Hiroshima Summit. It was announced that a new organization of atomic bomb survivors and young people would be established to further encourage the Japan government to join the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

A-bomb survivors, young people, and NGOs will join the organization, and preparations will be made for its launch next year. The group will urge the government to Join the Treaty On The Prohibition Of Nuclear Weapons by 2030.
