An employee of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare registered an incorrect address on the mailing list within the ministry. The personal information of 675 people, including the names, mobile numbers, and email addresses of private and government employees, was leaked through an erroneously sent email.

The ministry has decided to prohibit the use of private email addresses for business purposes as a measure to prevent recurrence. It has been decided that it is prohibited to use private addresses forBusiness purposes. The Ministry has sent an apology and a request to delete the email to the incorrect email address.
