Emilio Lora-Tamayo, president of the CSIC on two occasions, dies at 74. He was named honorary life rector last October by the Camilo José Cela University.
He has also served as a professor of Electronics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a visiting researcher at the University of Berkeley. In 2020, after the announcement of confinement due to the Covid-19 pandemic, he led the introduction of the UCJC's Extended Teaching-Learning Model.
