Earthquake in Taiwan: “It was scary”. Landslides and overturned houses: The worst earthquake in 25 years has shaken highly developed Taiwan.

At least seven people were killed and more than 700 injured. Rescue workers are still on duty. More than 87,000 households are still without power. A tsunami warning was issued for southern Japan and the Philippines, but the alert has since been lifted. The epicenter of the quake was around 15 kilometers deep and there were at least 25 aftershocks.
