Telegram founder Pavel Durov says messenger has recently stopped tens of thousands of attempts to send messages calling for terrorist attacks. Thousands of users participating faced permanent blocking of their Telegram accounts, he said.

Earlier, he announced that from April 1, all users from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus will be able to limit the circle of those who can send them personal messages in the messenger. The move is aimed at reducing the number of people in a user's circle who are able to send personal messages.
