Ex-VW boss Matthias Müller is due to testify as a witness in the investor trial surrounding the diesel affair today. Former Audi boss Rupert Stadler fought his way into a deal with the court and public prosecutor in the fraud trial because of manipulated emissions values.
Former VW board member Horst Neumann was the first witness in September 2023. The plaintiffs accuse Volkswagen and the defendant Porsche Holding of keeping the information about "Dieselgate" secret for a long time, thereby causing them to lose the value of their shares.
