Cruise ship is not allowed to dock in Mauritius due to “health risks”.. Almost 2,200 passengers and 1,000 crew members have to wait on the "Norwegian Dawn" The port authority has so far prevented the ship from docking, supposedly to protect the health of the "entire country" The risks involved remained unclear.
A spokesman for the shipping company said that some passengers on the Norwegian Dawn had shown mild symptoms of stomach illness during the voyage to South Africa on February 13th.
