Cologne customs confiscates almost 24 tons of fake washing powder from Turkey. The powder was in around 5,400 counterfeit packages from a well-known manufacturer.
The original value of the goods? In the six-figure range. The company could now take civil action against the recipient from Mülheim an der Ruhr, customs officials say.. counterfeit button cell batteries, razor blades, light bulbs and condoms are also confiscated by customs officials in Cologne and Aachen. The value of these counterfeit goods is around 110,000 euros.
