Chiba Tateyama Taxi driver assault case suspect boarded from Kanagawa prefecture. Ayato Funayama, 25, pulled a male taxi driver out of his car in a parking lot in the city at around 6:30 a.m.
on the 7th and assaulted him. He was arrested on suspicion of robbery and bodily harm for stealing a taxi, and was sent to the public prosecutor's office on the 9th. The driver is being treated at a hospital, where he remains unconscious and in critical condition.
