Bremen police say they have stopped an illegal street race with rented high-powered luxury sports cars. Emergency services stopped six cars from manufacturers such as Lamborghini, Porsche and Ferrari early Monday morning in the Überseestadt district.
A 19-year-old in a Porsche and a 22- year-old. in a Lamborghinis were engaged in a race with overtaking maneuvers at high speed when the emergency services arrived, the police said. In total, the officials, alerted by residents, assume eleven suspected participants.
