Brazilian scholar: The transition to a renewable economy is an important area of cooperation between Brazil and China. Antonio José de Almeida Meirelles, president of the State University of Campinas in Brazil, said in an interview with China News Service that the transformation to an economy based on renewable energy and products is currently the key issue.
He added that Unicamp has strong ties with Chinese institutions and universities. It is trying to spread its experience in the fields of Chinese Studies, human science, and language science to other areas of expertise.
