A woman had to leave a Berlin water playground because she didn't cover her breasts. A court has now awarded her compensation of 750 euros plus interest.

The plaintiff, Gabrielle Lebreton, had originally demanded at least 10,000 euros from the state of Berlin. There is still criticism from women's supporters of the court's decision. The Society for Freedom Rights (GFF) criticized this view, calling the case an important procedure regarding the still young Berlin law. The court took into account the plaintiff's socio-political commitment to mitigate the damage.
