[HIGHLIGHTS] Babboe: Cargo bikes are now considered “dangerous”

Babboe is recalling the first 10,000 cargo bikes for two models in the Netherlands and wants to compensate customers with vouchers. In Germany, the responsible authority classifies various Babboe bikes as “dangerous” The Dutch Food and Consumer Goods Safety Authority (NVWA) is investigating the company.

The NVWA’s allegations are serious. The company did not investigate numerous complaints and reports of frame breakages and did not report them to the authority, as was his duty.
