Two groups of young people got into an argument that resulted in deadly violence. According to local media reports, one or two people opened fire on passengers waiting on the platform at Mount Eden Avenue subway station in the northern Bronx district, 14 kilometers north of Times Square in Manhattan. Television images captured by a drone showed a stationary train and plainclothes police and investigators. The injured were taken to hospital.
