Approximately 700,000 babysitting discount tickets will be issued in the new fiscal year, 1.8 times more than last year. Babysitter discount coupons are a support project run by the Children and Family Affairs Agency through the National Childcare Service Association.
In FY2020, the issuance to companies was suspended after reaching the originally planned number of 390,000 in October, but was resumed in response to concerns from households with children. However, as of the end of December last year, of the approximately 480,000 tickets issued, the number that had actually been used was approximately 330,000.
