Attacker has three-year-old daughter in Sweden – and wore a cross – and had 480 euros in cash and a Swedish driver's license with him. Witnesses testified that he mentioned his daughter, his wife and Jesus Christ during the attack, according to prosecutor Line Bonnet-Mathis.
The man had been psychiatrically examined, there had been no evidence of delusions. French President Emmanuel Macron visited the victims and their families on Friday, while political forces are trying to hijack the crime.
