The animal was caught in the vicinity of the village of Yasenevy, Pozharsky district. The capture was carried out by inspectors of the Department for the Protection of Fauna and Specially Protected Natural Areas of the Primorsky Territory.
At the end of January, a criminal case was opened in Primorye over the discovery of the remains of an Amur tiger. The further fate of the animal will be decided by Rosprirodnadzor, the center’s press service reports.
