[HIGHLIGHTS] American Linden: Decades of Chinese love, this is the "first hometown"

American Brian Linden has spent nearly 8 years in China. He and his wife settled in Xizhou, Yunnan, China with their two sons in 2004.

They spent four years restoring a traditional Bai residence into a "Xilinyuan" integrating a hotel and an education and cultural exchange center. In an exclusive interview with Chinanews.com, Linden said that the Chinese culture that Linden wants to spread is rich and diverse. The root of sustainable development in rural China lies in culture, he said.
