Graphic designer Lasse Ermalm is one of Sweden's foremost cover makers. He has made Swedish album covers since the 70s.
His book "Cover: Ermalms Egenart" is out now. He says the covers are still of great importance when the physical album has become popular. The covers are a unified work of art so to speak, he says. He shares how it happened in the cover workshop in his home town of Malmö, Sweden. The book is published by Hachette.
