Al-Qassam won the moral and media battle with merit, overthrowing Western propaganda that carried under its banner the racist goals of recycling the Crusades. The army, a military influence, was and still is, in the eyes of many historians, a balance of power in the face of external dangers, and a guarantee of stability of rule and sovereignty.

It is no longer possible to consider this influence as a mere legitimate practice of violence, and the security pretexts that escape the grip of moral controls are no longer sufficient.
