Al Jazeera photographer Ahmed Matar undergoes a successful surgery to restore his skull. The occupation forces targeted Matar and correspondent Ismail Abu Omar while they were covering the movement of displaced people between Rafah and Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip on February 13.
The Kuwaiti medical delegation visiting the Gaza Strip these days performed the successful surgery on our colleague Matar, Al Jazeera photographer, to restore the skull, in the orthopedic department of the European Hospital in Kahn Yunis.
