Al Jazeera Net accompanied taxi driver Muhammad Bashir, a Palestinian from Burj al-Shamali camp in southern Lebanon. He transported citizens from the south to Beirut, Tire, or other cities in Lebanon.

Bashir spoke about the motives for which citizens move, the most prominent of which is the loss of the people of southern cities of their destroyed homes. The taxi driver observed similarities between the situation since the events of last October 7 and the situation in the 2006 war, pointing out the high cost of living and the high costs of fuel.
