The risk of certain death for infants in the northern Gaza Strip is increasing, due to food shortages and famine. The situation is catastrophic inside the hospital’s nursery department.

Most of the cases arriving at Kamal Adwan Complex are of children without families and mothers, and therefore the hospital is responsible for their nutrition, says Dr. Hossam Abu Safiya, director of the Children”s Hospital at the complex. The hospital is located in Beit Lahia, in the north of the Gaza Strip.
